Sterling Silver Handled
I’m trying to find some information on a sugarbowl I’ve had for years.I believe it’s sterling silver?
It’s marked on bottom Meneses Spain 02064.I have looked all over the internet with no luck.It has a lid and what looks kind of like a Bamboo design on handles.
Thank you for all that,I couldn’t find anything.I double checked it and there are no other markings.I did find a couple of little trays on ebay that said there silverplated,I think this piece I have is SS from the look,weight and the way it tarnishes.Thanks again for your info.
Meneses Orfebres S.A. was founded in 1840 by Mr. Leoncio Meneses under the name of “Plata Meneses” (Meneses Silver). On your piece should be a marking EPNS ‘electroplated Nickel Silver‘ or EPBM
