Silver Plate Flatware
Is silver-Plated Flatware stainless or does it accumulate stains over time?
I’m shopping for flatware and I found some Silver Plated flatware on Horchow that I am in love with, but I need something that won’t get stained for every day use. I understand Stainless Steel would be a best bet but I really like the look of this particular flatware and want it so bad.
the silver plated ware one sees now is cheap, and after a few washes in caustic soapy conditions the silver wears off showing the yellow nickel underneath. stainless is better, also good ceramic or china
