Silver Card Tray
What of your child’s did you save?

My husband says I save too much of my son’s. Here is what is in the box:
ultrasounds
baby blanket (The one he and I were both brought home in)
crib card and hospital bracelets
hospital hat and outfit we brought him home in
first chirstmas and thanksgiving outfits
birth announcement
newborn diaper(not used)
baby shoes (cast in Silver Plate) and socks
booties and bib that i made for him
bible from christening and christening suit (also heirlooms)
birthday cards, invite, and party hat from 1st birthday
cake toppers from baby shower and first birthday
first tooth and curl holders
Silver Spoon, cup, porriger and rattle
letters I wrote him
photo albums with a photo from each month

It’s all in a nice box with trays and dividers my dad made for him, so it’s not everywhere. Is it really too much? What did you save?
The spoon, cup, and rattle are real silver, and heirlooms. They aren’t just plastic.

Sounds fine to me. I have a baby book and birthday book for each of my sons. They have pockets in them to save stuff. I kept the ultrasound photos, crib cards, hospital bracelets, hospital hats, all the cards they’ve ever gotten, newborn diaper, number candles from their cakes, a lock of hair from their first haircuts, letters, pictures, and each of them have a hand knitted baby blanket that my friend made for them. I’m hoping to pass them the baby blankets for when they have their own children. I keep ticket stubs from special events, I keep postcards, I keep little trinkets that we pick up. If it fits in the baby book pocket, then I probably keep it.
