Seafood Forks
Despite what correct etiquette says, Is this a socially acceptable thing to do in the way of manners?
Here’s the thing. My dad is mad because of something i did at a casual, mid-priced seafood restaurant. What happened was, i picked up a fried shrimp with my fingers, seeing as everyone else at the restaurant was and there was little room on my plate. My dad got mad, and said I had to use a knife and fork. Then i got mad. lol. Anyway, at a strictly casual, family outing is it appropriate to pick up fried shrimp at a mid-priced, casual, restaurant? I know proper etiquette says that i should use a knife and fork, but under these circumstances it would be appropriate, would it not? Thanks
