Plain Tipped
im a 13 year old catcher and i need to throw harder block better and be just plain quicker any tips?
i play 13u aaa baseball
I am also a 13 year old aau/usssa/middle school baseball player but i should be playing in 14u soon. I am left handed but i have turned to be the best catcher on my team because of my arm and my speed. for you to be able to throw harder you should get a work out band that you can put on your door knob and go through a throwing movement evryday. or if you go to www.baseballexpress.com and order their catalog you will see that they have something that you attatch to the top of your door and you do the same thing but it is more effective. For better blocking you should get a tennis ball and go to the side wall of your house and throw it at the wall so that it comes back as a pitch in the dirt and practice blocking it. for more speed just keep running.
