Ooh, fantastic list of names! I had to star it just because it’s such a fantastic reference of unusual, classic names which are generally my style exactly.
My top three (because I can’t possibly pick just one):
Charles – my father’s name, and will be my first son’s middle name (Dean Charles). I’m not too keen on Charlie or Chuck, but Charles just sounds so classy and sophisticated to me. I’m extremely picky about boy names, but Charles definitely fits the bill in every way I need a name to. 10/10
Gregory – way too underused, this name is great. I went to school with one Gregory, who went by Greg (he was actually on Teen Jeopardy and made it to the finals of the tournament), so I associate it with a very smart, well-read person. I also think of Gregory House, like from the show House MD, but that doesn’t make me dislike the name. 10/10
Theodore – Absolutely love this name and the nickname possibilities of Theo or Teddy. Used to be on my list as Theodore Davis, but I found it a bit too D heavy so now it’s Nathaniel Davis. I wish I could use this name but my boyfriend hates it. Reminds me of Theodore Roosevelt. 10/10
I also love: Luther, Thaddeus, Perry, Oliver, Lewis, Gabriel, Frederick, Casper, Art (prefer Arthur though, with Art as a nickname), and Alonzo (I like the spelling Alonso).
