Fruit Spoons
Guilty for spoon of fruit?
I highly dislike feeling full, because (one) it’s unhealthy and (two) it’s so uncomfortable that I can hardly concentrate on my work after dinner. Last night, I felt that way, so I promised myself I would take it easy tonight. I had less of everything, but when I spooned myself a bit of mixed fruit with fat free whipped topping, my mom was like “Oh, you can eat more than that!” I wasn’t so sure, but I put in another spoon. Later, I decided not, and before eating, I spooned a tiny bit away. When I ate it for dessert, however, I realized that there was just one spoonful that I really didn’t want, but I didn’t know if I should or shouldn’t eat it since it is healthy anyway. So I took the bite, and now I don’t know if I should have. I know it probably wouldn’t have made a big difference with my “feeling full”, but that was just extra calories. The fruit was from a can filled with heavy syrup, but we did drain the syrup. I have a cold so I didn’t know if I should eat it or not.
You are overly concerned about your eating habits. Having an extra spoonful of fruit with a fat free topping and in a heavy syrup isn’t going to cause you any sudden weight gain or any other negative effect. Learn to enjoy food and not fear it.
