(Oct. 30) – A list of the safest and most dangerous cities overall, as compiled by Morgan Quitno Press, which bases the rankings on FBI figures. The list starts with the safest cities and ends with the most dangerous.
Only cities that reported crime rates were included in the list. For example, New Orleans was not included this year because its police department did not report figures.

No matter what the crime rate is where you live, you should never consider yourself to be completely safe. I have known people who live in gated communities who have been robbed and beaten. Just because you live behind a gate doesn’t insure your safety.
I looked at that list and didn’t see a single city within 100 miles of where I lived and I looked at the whole thing! I guess some of us just live out where most of America doesn’t see us!
